New Employee Orientation Schedule for 2008. Location is conference room 544 at 301 N Wilmington Street, Raleigh. Sessions begin promptly at 8:30 am and will end by 4:00 pm. Employees who are new to the Department of Commerce should plan to attend first scheduled session after their date of hire.

Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) Video These videos are provided in conjunction with the Commerce Critical Incident Procedures and State Capitol Police as a training resource to inform Commerce employees of measures to be followed in the event of a building lockdown. All such efforts are intended to prepare employees for any unexpected building intrusion by someone wishing to impose harm and are for the general safety and well being of Commerce employees.

This pass allows eligible state government employees to ride TTA and CAT buses any day of the week to work or play, free of charge EXCEPT for State Fair and University events, i.e. football games, etc…

OSBM Travel Directive Amendment - State agencies should continue to set an example by encouraging the coordination of state employees ridesharing during out-of-town trips and by the use of other energy conservation activities, including carpooling to and from work.
