State Employees 2009 Wellness. This event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 from 9 am – 3 pm at the NC State Fairgrounds (Jim Graham Building) in Raleigh. The Help Desk is now operated by the Office of Information Technology Services, and is tasked with providing installation and support of approved hardware, software, and services to the divisions within the Department of Commerce.

Requests to reset your password, or for support with CMS, Web, and other Commerce applications (AppTrack, SEMTEK, Sites & Buildings, Redbook, etc.) should be directed to the Commerce help desk.

Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) Video These videos are provided in conjunction with the Commerce Critical Incident Procedures and State Capitol Police as a training resource to inform Commerce employees of measures to be followed in the event of a building lockdown. All such efforts are intended to prepare employees for any unexpected building intrusion by someone wishing to impose harm and are for the general safety and well being of Commerce employees.

This pass allows eligible state government employees to ride TTA and CAT buses any day of the week to work or play, free of charge EXCEPT for State Fair and University events, i.e. football games, etc…

Commuting Alternatives for State Government Employees

OSBM Travel Directive Amendment - State agencies should continue to set an example by encouraging the coordination of state employees ridesharing during out-of-town trips and by the use of other energy conservation activities, including carpooling to and from work. Information about carpooling, vanpooling, finding park and ride lots, and public transit services can be found at the following:

Please be advised !! ALERT !! There is a fax being sent to North Carolina schools from a business called “State Employee Benefits Division” regarding 401(k) and 403(b) plans. This is not from the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer’s Retirement Systems Division.

We are investigating the matter further, but wanted to make you aware of the situation, as the fax asks employers to forward the information to employees. We will keep you apprised if we learn anything more. Thank you.

The NC SECU does not have text message notification. Also, the phone number does not belong to NC SECU.
