Farmer on the Mall

We are excited to announce the return of the State Employees' Farmer on the Mall which started April 10th from 11 to 2 PM. Farmer Roger Ball, member of the "Got to be NC" Agriculture program, is our host farmer for our Comprehensive Wellness Initiative. He will be located on the Bicentennial Mall near the Liberty Bell across from the Legislative Building each Tuesday from 11-2 PM and on the Halifax Mall between the Revenue Building and the Department of Public Instruction Building every Thursday from 11 to 2 PM.

In the coming weeks, Farmer Ball plans to bring:

Fresh Strawberries
Yellow and zucchini squash
Tomatoes
Sweet Potatoes
Pecans
Green Bell Peppers
Cucumbers
fruit

Be sure to come out and support Farmer Ball and take home some of his delicious fresh picked strawberries! You’ll be glad you did!

Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) Video These videos are provided in conjunction with the Commerce Critical Incident Procedures and State Capitol Police as a training resource to inform Commerce employees of measures to be followed in the event of a building lockdown. All such efforts are intended to prepare employees for any unexpected building intrusion by someone wishing to impose harm and are for the general safety and well being of Commerce employees.
