Open enrollment for Health Insurance is April 1-25, 2008. All employees must enroll through BEACON.
All Timesheets must be completed weekly. Employees much complete and release (submit) timesheets by COB each Friday. Managers must approve timesheets by COB each Monday.
Commerce is considered “Positive Time” in BEACON, which means that employees need to enter all time worked and note all leave as well (just like ATLAS).
ATLAS will be turned off Monday, April 7, 2008. All April timesheets must be completed in BEACON.
Comp time policy is being revised. There is no longer a 48-hour carry-forward cap on comp. time for non-subject FLSA employees.
Any requests for Leave Without Pay (LWOP) must have prior approval from the Division/Commission Head and the Commerce Human Resources Office.
Any changes to employee work schedules must have prior approval from the supervisor and will need to be modified in BEACON by Commerce-HR.
Monthly leave accruals will not kick-in in BEACON until the employee works half the month. This means that leave balances will change on the 16th of every month.
