Chet Mottershead
Director

Chet consults with and advises management on personnel matters in order to promote and coordinate sound personnel management practices in accordance with State Personnel Policy. He administers personnel practices for the Department and communicates policy changes to management.



Carol Robbins
Position Management

Carol is responsible for maintaining the Department's position classification program. She reviews position descriptions and classifications to insure that they reflect the actual responsibilities and duties assigned to that position and makes changes and revisions when appropriate.



Toni Stuckey
Employee Relations/Staff Development

Toni assists both managers and employees in resolving issues, which adversely impact performance in the workplace. Works closely with the Human Resources Director in handling Employee Grievances. She also manages the departmental Performance Management Program; provides guidance related to employment practices and priorities; and is responsible for staff development and training. In addition, Toni administers the policies regarding American's with Disabilities Act, the Employees' Assistance Program (EAP), and the Educational Assistance Policy.



Cindy Popal
Salary Administrator

Cindy handles screening applications and qualifying applicants for positions within the Department. She transmits all departmental personnel actions to the Office of State Personnel through the PMIS (Personnel Management Information System). She is responsible for managing and compliance with the departmental State salary administration policies and procedures. She also administers the Voluntary Shared Leave Program.



Rose Hendricks
Benefits/Safety & Health Administrator

Rose manages the departmental employee benefits program. She provides orientation to new employees, Exit Interviews, handles Workers' Compensation claims, process longevity payments, processes Short Term Disability and coordinates retirement planning. In addition, she administers the Employee Appreciation Program and Governor's Awards for Excellence Program. She also serves as the department's Safety & Health Director.



Deborah O'Neal
Leave Administrator/Recruitment

Deborah responds to inquiries regarding the Department's current job vacancies. Receives and log-in applications to the Applicant Tracking System and compiles applicant selection packages. Prepares vacancy announcements. Post vacancies through the PMIS (Personnel Management Information System). Also, logs in leave records for employees. Responds to requests for temporary employment through Temporary Solutions. This position is also responsible for ordering employee service awards.
